Hi there! My name is Brie Olvey, and I am a certified math and science educator in the state of Arizona. I have been private tutoring since 2016 and have been in the classroom since 2019. 

I earned my bachelor's degree in Molecular Bioscience and Biotechnology from Arizona State University in 2017, and my Master's degree in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University in 2021. Since then, I have been teaching middle school science. While I was in grad school, I worked in an 8th grade math intervention classroom to support students who are struggling with skills to help them to be successful in their math courses. 

My teaching philosophy is simple: every student with a desire to grow can be successful, given the proper tools and support. Mistakes are okay, they are part of the learning process.
